Billy Bradford Jr., CPA
Billy received his BBA in Accounting from Abilene Christian University in 1981. He specializes in forensic accounting and litigation support. Civic participation includes serving as the Immediate Past Chairman and Presiding Officer of the Texas Water Development Board, former Board Member and Chairman of the Brownsville Public Utilities Board, former Board Member and Chairman of the Southmost Regional Water Authority, former Governing Board Member of the Brownsville Medical Center, and Former Member and Chair of the Governing Board of Valley Regional Medical Center. His current professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Rio Grande Valley Chapter.
Robert L. Young, EA ABA
Robert received his AAS in Accounting from Texas Southmost in 1978 and continued his education at Pan American University while working as a Staff Accountant with White and Company CPA’s. Bob has earned a vast amount of experience working at multiple banks as the Controller, Vice President of Finance & Accounting; and as Investment Officer of Mortgage Banking Operations in Vancouver, Washington. His career took him back to public accounting in 1993, later establishing his own CPA firm in 1998 in Washington State. In 2008, he relocated to Brownsville to work at Hales Bradford LLP and became a partner of the firm in 2012. Current professional memberships include National Society of Accountants, National Association of Enrolled Agents, Texas Society of Enrolled Agents, Accredited Business Advisor and Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation.
David M. Nuckols, CPA
David is a Brownsville native and graduated in the second graduating class from James Pace High School. He received his BBA in Accounting and Masters in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. His civic participation includes, Former Incentives Committee Member of the Brownsville Economic Development Council, Former Member of the Maquiladora Association, and currently serves as the Stateside Coordinator for Bread of Life Frontier Missions.
Sandra L. Garcia, CPA
Sandra received both her BBA in Accounting and MPA in Taxation from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990. She spent 10 years specializing in real estate and construction taxation in San Antonio before returning to the Rio Grande Valley in 2000. Her years of experience include 17 years in public accounting and 8 years as the Chief Financial Officer in the health care industry. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Sandra is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Her professional memberships include the America Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Rio Grande Valley Chapter. Sandra’s current civic participation includes serving as past-president and current board trustee for the Los Fresnos CISD School District.
